Professional Profile
Bill Makepeace served in the U. S. Marine Corps before coming to Merrill Lynch and recently returned from serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom II in Fallujah, Iraq. He graduated from Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia and received a BA in Business Management from North Carolina State University. Bill earned his MBA from Campbell University. He serves as President of the Greater Atlanta Reserve Officers Association and the Atlanta N.C. State Club. Bill provides the group and clients with strategic investment leadership.
Lawrence Makepeace worked in public accounting with business owners and their families prior to joining Merrill Lynch. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and currently serves on the alumni board. Lawrence focuses on tax efficient wealth management as well as generational wealth transfer for entrepreneurs. Lawrence works closely with clients' tax advisors to facilitate a holistic financial strategy that truly adds tactical value to client relationships.
Kim O'Bannon has 23 years experience in the securities industry and provides administrative services for high net worth clients.
